Distinguishing true prophets from false prophets can be challenging, as both may claim to have divine inspiration. However, one way to discern between the two is to examine the teachings and actions of the individual in relation to established spiritual principles and values. True prophets are often characterized by their humility, selflessness, and alignment with universal truths such as love, compassion, and justice. It is also important to consider the impact of their message, as true prophets often bring about positive transformation and upliftment in the lives of others. Ultimately, discerning between true and false prophets may require careful reflection, discernment, and seeking guidance from one's own spiritual beliefs and practices. **

One can recognize false prophets by examining their teachings and actions. False prophets often promote self-interest, greed, and manipulation, rather than selflessness and genuine care for others. They may also use fear tactics to control and manipulate their followers. Additionally, false prophets may exhibit a lack of humility and accountability, refusing to acknowledge their mistakes or accept feedback. It is important to critically evaluate the words and actions of those claiming to be prophets and compare them to the teachings of established spiritual or ethical principles. **

In Matthew 7:15, Jesus warns his followers to beware of false prophets who come in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. These false prophets are individuals who claim to speak on behalf of God but actually lead people astray with their deceptive teachings and actions. They may appear to be righteous and trustworthy, but their true intentions are to exploit and manipulate others for their own gain. Jesus urges his followers to be discerning and to judge these false prophets by their fruits, or the outcomes of their words and actions. **

It is possible that Jesus did warn Paul about false prophets, but the specific warning may not have been recorded in the Bible. Alternatively, Jesus may have wanted Paul to learn and discern for himself, as encountering false prophets could help strengthen Paul's faith and understanding. Ultimately, it is up to interpretation whether Jesus directly warned Paul or if Paul learned to beware of false prophets through his own experiences and teachings. **

As a divine figure, Jesus had the ability to foresee events and outcomes. By warning Paul and others about false prophets, Jesus was providing guidance and protection to his followers. It was an essential part of his teachings to ensure that his disciples were aware of potential dangers and could discern the truth from deception. Therefore, it is unlikely that Jesus would have neglected to warn Paul and others about the presence of false prophets. **

Some prophets are considered false because their prophecies do not come true because the accuracy of their predictions is a key measure of their credibility. In many religious traditions, a true prophet is believed to be inspired by a higher power and their prophecies are expected to be accurate. When a prophet's predictions consistently fail to materialize, it raises doubts about their authenticity and can lead to their dismissal as a false prophet. Additionally, false prophets may use their supposed abilities to manipulate and deceive others for personal gain, further undermining their credibility. **
